IFDS announces senior appointments in UK Funds Solutions business
LONDON – 15 December 2015 - International Financial Data Services (IFDS), a leading global provider of outsourced administration and technology solutions to the collective investment, fund platform, retirement and insurance markets, today announced major appointments to its senior management team in the UK.
- Chris Spencer has assumed the role of Managing Director, UK Funds. Mr. Spencer joined IFDS in 2004 as a Director of Client Relations. He previously held senior positions in both operations and client-facing roles at Fidelity Investments and Govett Investment Management.
- Richard Barrett has been named Chief Operating Officer, UK Funds. Mr. Barrett joined IFDS in 2008 as Director of Operations, having previously held senior roles with Pershing Securities and Fidelity Investments.
In addition, David Moffat, Group Executive has been named to lead the strategic response of the IFDS Funds business to major new legislation, with an initial focus on MiFID II.
According to Paul Roberts, CEO Funds at IFDS, the moves reflect the firm’s on-going commitment to its transfer agency business at a time of increased regulatory engagement and greater focus on international growth.
