Simon Hudson-Lund - CEO, DST International Holdings & Executive Chairman, IFDS

 

Simon Hudson-Lund is Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of DST International Holdings, a subsidiary of DST Systems Inc., with responsibility for all business activities operating outside of the United States..

In addition, Simon currently serves as Global Executive Chairman of International Financial Data Services (IFDS), a joint-venture organisation between DST Systems and State Street Corporation. Since 2003, he has served in numerous positions within IFDS including Chief Executive Officer, Head of European Transfer Agent Operations, Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director.

Prior to IFDS, Simon spent five years at Legal & General where he was Managing Director responsible for unit trust administration.

Simon has over 35 years’ experience in the financial services industry and qualified as an accountant in 1984.

Katherine MacMillan - President & CEO, North America

Katherine MacMillan

Katherine MacMillan is President and Chief Executive Officer of International Financial Data Services (Canada) Ltd. (IFDS). Katherine has served as President & CEO since February 2014, as well as a Board Member.

Prior to joining IFDS, Katherine spent over 15 years at Manulife Financial, holding various leadership roles in Client Services, Marketing and Operations.  In her last role, Katherine served as Executive Vice President & General Manager, leading international teams across Canada, the US and Philippines with full accountability for strategy and continued growth of the John Hancock Retirement Plan Services business.

Katherine has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, developing extensive expertise in transformational change, driving efficiencies, brand positioning and operations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program from Queen’s University. Katherine was also honored as one of Canada’s top leaders in the Top 40 under 40 program, a national program that uniquely celebrates the achievements of 40 Canadians in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, who have reached a significant level of success before the age of 40.

Steve Parkinson - CEO Platforms

Steve Parkinson is Chief Executive Officer for Platforms at IFDS, having previously headed the Retirement and Insurance Solutions (RIS) business.

Steve has over 30 years’ experience in Financial Services, mainly in Life and Pensions, working for both product providers and service suppliers. He spent the 10 years before joining IFDS at Capita where he led a team that built up a substantial Life & Pensions Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) business, administering over 20 million policies.

Paul Roberts - CEO, Funds, Europe

Paul Roberts

Paul Roberts is Chief Executive Officer of Funds at IFDS having been promoted in January 2013 from Managing Director and business development lead in Europe. Paul has responsibility for the joint ventures’ global relationship management, innovation and marketing programmes.

Paul joined IFDS in 1998 from Fleming Fund Management in Luxembourg where he was responsible for the European transfer agency and fund administration operations, as well as various IT functions.

Paul is a graduate from Bristol University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

Stephen Mohan - MD, Retirement & Insurance Solutions, Europe

Stephen Mohan is Managing Director of IFDS Retirement and Insurance Solutions (RIS) and Chief Executive of RIS Ireland. He also chairs the Board of IFDS Percana International Managed Services Limited. He joined IFDS in September 2015, originally as Chief Operating Officer, Platform Services.

Having been an army officer, IT sales man and management consultant, Stephen’s first role in Financial Services was in 1997, when he joined RBS Trust Bank Ltd as Group IT Director, becoming Managing Director UK Retail Funds when the company formed Bank of New York Europe.

He moved to M&G as MD Retail Operations and CEO of CISL, which provided outsourcing services to Cofunds. Having outsourced the M&G and Prudential operations to IFDS, Stephen became Interim Chief Executive of Royal London Servicing, then Interim Executive Director, Operations for Fidelity before joining Cofunds.

As Managing Director Operational Services, Stephen also ran and grew Cofunds Institutional from £2Bn to £20Bn in assets. He was Head of UK & Ireland for Allfunds Bank, turning it around and giving it an injection of new business.
